Day Three of Life

hungry, hungry hippo
Last night Logan had an ultrasound & an MRI of his brain; this afternoon the doctor sat us down with the results: Yes, Logan has dilated ventricles; the cause - still unknown. The good news: neurosurgery sees no reason for him to remain in the hospital and no reason for alarm. His head circumference and brain activity are completely normal and all his vitals are that of a perfectly healthy happy baby.

Pending a successful circumcision this evening we are free to go home tonight!!! YAY. We are to come back in 2 weeks to see the neuro docs just so they can make sure everything in Logan's brain continues to look good. But the outlook sounds extremely positive!!

If you are like us and can't get enough of this little man - I've continued to add photos to our Picasa album. (Link on the right sidebar)
