He's 30.5lbs and a perfect 3 feet tall. He was a size 4 shoe this past winter/spring and now he's a 6/7. He wears 2T clothes.
He had hip x-rays this week. Everything looks normal :) He was molded for SMO braces which will replace his orthodic inserts.
He walks inside about 70% of the time He walks outside about 30% of the time He is learning how to pick things up from the floor while in a standing position
He has a lot of words but still doesn't really communicate - he labels
He says "Hi Buddy" to Daddy since thats what Daddy says to him & I love it
He can say his full name Logan Beckett Hawk He is beginning to follow directions better
He eats A LOT He still doesn't use any utensils but you'd be surprised how many foods can be finger foods
He loves apple juice & fish sticks
He just got scheduled for an out patient speech therapy evaluation He has therapy (physical and occupational) 2hrs every Wednesday He will meet with his preschool this fall in preparation for his first day in January :o
He loves trucks and balls and digging in the dirt He learned to wave & give hugs in the last couple months He just started to throw "fits" /show some emotion when things frustrate him
He would stay "out-back" ALL day if I let him He knows where the big truck aisle is in Target He calls Mickey Mouse Clubhouse "Hotdog" because of the song they sing at the end
He goes to bed between 7-8pm every night
He wakes up between 6-7am every morning He goes down for a nap between 12-1pm for 2hrs every afternoon
Today Reagan decided to mega nap. She always seems to mega nap on the days Logan has therapy. So I waited till the last minute possible to wake her up & go. She's still half asleep in this picture - hence the bow still being in her hair - but I love it.
I love how when I look at this picture I can
smell her sleepy skin and her paci breath and feel her arms around my
Once Daddy got home from work yesterday we all went to collect some
raspberries :) They both kinda figured out how to pick them off but
just as soon as did they also learned that Mommy & Daddy were
picking them and putting them in a bucket so why not just camp out
around the bucket and stuff our faces ?!
We had been eyeing this bad boy in one of our neighbors yards for a while now. I knew their kids were older and by the looks of the playhouse it hadn't been touched in years. Kevin finally gave me the gusto to knock on the door to see if our kids could put it to better use. We offered some money they offered to throw in the slide and I think we both made out with a pretty sweet the deal.
My attempts at replicating this picture taken exactly a year ago....
Between Reagan looking like she was thinking about a million other things that would be more fun to do and Logan's hand forever in his diaper I'd say last years picture turned out better....eh, I tried.
Everyone gets their chance to help Moma mow the lawn. Logan had his last September (click here to see). Reagan's turn was today. She was cranky and Logan was happy as pie digging in his hole - so in she went and off we went. SHE FELL ASLEEP... 5 mins in and slept the entire 40mins it took me to finish.
I attribute it to the amount of times I mowed the lawn while pregnant. Hearing the hum of the lawn mower probably put her right back in the womb.
Our house is quiet. It's the first time in over 2 weeks we don't have a visitor and I miss them. The kiddos miss them. Lucky for us - in one month we fly to Myrtle Beach, SC for a week long vacation with ALL the fam. !!!!
