At Yale on Monday we were sent home with a disk of all of Logans MRI results. I popped it into the computer today and read

Findings:
There is dilatation of both lateral ventricles. The third ventricle
is of normal caliber as is the fourth ventricle. The sylvian aqueduct
is difficult to visualize with the quick brain protocol however there
is no gross mass in this region. There is no acute infarct. There is
no parenchymal hemorrhage, mass effect, or midline shift. No
extraaxial collections are noted. Note is made of bilateral cystic
structures in the caudothalamic grooves, likely choroid plexus cysts.
Midline structures are essentially unremarkable as seen. The
craniocervical junction is unremarkable. The visualized orbits are
normal.
Impression:
1. Dilatation of both lateral ventricles.
2. No gross intracranial hemorrhage.
3. Bilateral choroid plexus cysts.

I don't know what half of these words mean but I googled Choroid Plexus Cysts

For anyone that doesn't google it - It's definitely good news and a definite reason not to ever think about it again :)
