For awhile now we've been talking about making him something that had a bunch of speed bumps to help satisfy his love for them.  

A little inspiration & a day and a half of our weekend later..... we took it to the next level.

We've been taking care Jerry Hertel for Isa & Uncle Timmy for almost a week now.  This was Reagan today - she said "Mommy, pretend I'm Jerry Berry"  and she proceeded to do everything and anything Jerry did.  

Makes us miss Dylan a wee bit and makes me wish the kiddos were this age when Dylan was younger.  But because of that we've had a lot of fun with Jerry this week...he's probably stressed to the max & will sleep for days when he leaves us tomorrow.....

2 for Thursday

1. For the first time EVER Logan said "I luvvvee you Moma" unprompted, unscripted, un-everything.  It seemed completely natural, raw & real.  Of all places, he said it to me while climbing on my lap at therapy :)   - just shy of two years ago he said "Moma" for the first time (click HERE to read about that).  Can't imagine what another 2 years will bring!

Be still my beating heart - my little love has told me he loves me.

2. My daughter is crazy.

Funday Sunday

 We set out to go with the flow & here's what happened next:

Lot's of running & spinning

And soccer playing

And getting super hot & sweaty

Cooling off

Riding a trolley around town 

Stopping for lunch & noon o'clock wine


Feeding the ducks

 And then World Cup watching - gooooalllll!!!  Man! I thought we had the win :/

We had no plans but some of the best days are unplanned.

My lap will always be just the right size to fit them perfectly :)

Watching USA win their first World Cup game:

Reagan made her first two "R's" the one below is the first one (small R on the left side of the page)

And then she colored in this picture I drew of our family.  She's getting good at staying in the lines :)

Happy Dads Day....weekend.

As with all occasions we extend the celebrations over at least a weekend....Cause why not?  Boat rides, wine, shopping, good food, drinks, World Cup, more drinks, more food, pool, outback- water- time....
