Things the Kids Say: Logan

This is Logans first post of this kind!!!
Everynight we talk about his day before bed, we start by asking open ended questions that are usually met with silence so then we switch to yes/no questions (ie: did you go to school today? do you remember playing with chalk outside?) to which he sometimes/most of the time answers correctly.

But last night.....
This was the conversation:

Kevin: "Did you have fun playing with Mason today?"
Logan: "Yesh"
Kevin: "What did you & Mason play with?"
Logan: "Ready set go, pick up police car, come back"

YESSSSS! he just answered an open ended question!!!! Logan is referring to the "road races" we had yesterday with Mason I gave each kiddo an object (Logan: police car, Mason: ball, Reagan: a baby) and had them race to pick their object up and come back and touch my hands.

Boat Ride

My parents had friends in town - friends that I grew up knowing as their friends and friends that have never met Logan and Reagan.  Which is more than enough reason for a boat ride!

Weather wasn't great on Saturday but let's take it a few steps back and put some perspective on it:
It's February and we're on a boat.

We had fun & I took lots of pictures.

 No Reagan did not sleep on the boat although I have several pictures that would make you think otherwise. And yes, Logan is still the most handsome boy you'll ever see standing by water. 

Thanks Rick & Brenda for coming to Texas to visit and giving Mom & Tom an excuse to invite us to go out on the boat on a notsonice day in February :)

For you Grandma

Phone is fixed except for the camera on it which I used ALL THE TIME.  Laptop is still broken so it's been a little more difficult to take a picture and then upload it for the blog :/

Grandma asked for an update so I plopped the kiddos in their chairs to watch a little Daniel Tiger, took their picture, booted up the ole' desktop computer and here we are....

Birthday!

Google recognized my birthday today?! Is that happening on everyones computer ..... ?

My phone is still outta commission and my laptop is officially dunzo.

The silver lining is at 6:30am when I don't have a computer to surf or a phone to be on while I drink my coffee I am productive.

And even better than being productive at 7am is my birthday is tomorrow & m'love has been leaving me little gifts all week long & the gifts appear to be creating me a whole new outfit to wear out for my Birthday Dinner date on Saturday :)

Sleepy

Logan use to get milk every night before bed - but once he started having diaper issues at night we eliminated that.  So now it's a super special treat that he gets every once in awhile. Last night was one of those night.  He was SO excited to go to bed.

Reagan always gets a little milk - I think the sucking milk outta a sippy cup kinda replaced the paci.  Most nights she drinks her milk and is FAST asleep.  But on occasion she is overtired? restless? Last night she was all of the above & then some.  She went to her "spot" (the place in her room that she goes to every morning when she wakes up while she waits for us to come up and get her) And that's where we found her when we went to bed last night - sound asleep in her spot.  Guess we took too long to come up and get her ;)

My phone broke (big time) a week ago :/  I have since activated one of our old phones that was in the kids toy bin - it works most some of the time and the camera on it works none of the time :(  The morning after my phone broke I opened up my laptop to find out that it's on the fritz.  My screen is a giant gray fuzz with lines through it :/

Not enough smiles in that paragraph. 

Here's a smile big enough to make up for all that complaining :)

Logan's 4th Birthday

Late night popcorn with Mommy & Daddy, Monster Jam with the boyz,  & a SuperBowl Birthday Party with a whole lotta family & friends - pretty sure it's going to be hard to one up this birthday next year.....

Thanks to everyone who helped make Logan's Birthday weekend special.  He had a super sad face on when he got on the school bus this morning :/ But with a weekend like that - how could you be happy to see Monday?!
