Movie Night
Logan has yet to take an interest to anything on TV. On occasion, a commercial will catch his eye, but the times I turn the station to Sesame Street he doesn't seem to care. BUT tonight I needed/wanted an easy evening so I plopped him on the couch, gave him a teething biscuit and put in a DVD Grandma & Grandpa got him for Christmas and BINGO :) He was probably focused because he was chewing on a teething biscuit because after he finished he got antsy and stuck his finger in his nose & then pulled the blanket over his head.

Music Man
Couldn't resist buying Logan this Maracas & Tambourine set when we were at T.J. Maxx today. He loves making LOTS of noise which is exactly what these instruments do. Love the right picture - he is making sooooo much noise he had to close his eyes.

Ok, who done it?
Someone shipped Logan an assortment of cookies & crackers today?! My guess is Aunt Andrea, seems like something silly she would do..... Thank you to whoever it was :)
By George with 36 pouches I'm pretty sure we can get Logan walking and potty trained before the last pouch is opened
Mommy might have to taste test one of the Keebler Cookies.....

Little by little
One of the concerns with Logans development is the fact that he doesn't pull himself up. Kevin & I have been working with him for a while now and just recently he has started to figure out how it's done with a little of our help...BUT this afternoon with a little cracker enticement he did it all by himself! Daddy hasn't seen this yet - it made my day, pretty sure it will make his :)

Predictions
31 weeks prego this week and with only 9 weeks to go it's about time for us to take a guess at when we think this little lady might hatch. Doc says May 23rd
I say:
Time: 8:49pm
Height: 20in
Weight: 7lbs 14oz
1. May 5th
2. May 18th
3. May 22nd
May 5th cause I can picture eating tacos and drinking margs at her birthday parties.
May 18th cause it sounds pretty and it's the day after the full moon
May 22nd cause rare a babe to come on the actual due date & I'm hopin this one comes early like a good little girl.
Kevin says:
Time: 8:43am
Height: 19.6inches
Weight: 7lbs 9oz
1. May 20th
Ben & Jenn who guessed Logans birthdate, time, weight & height the most accurate are still waiting for there winners gift so take a guess if you'd like but rest assured, aside from a small ego boost, you may never reap the rewards. lol.

My name is Logan, could I be any cuter?
Thank goodness winter came back because we were worried Logan wasn't going to be able to wear this little sweater we bought for him back when we lived in England and he lived in my belly.
p.s. it's snowing.

Swingin' Smiles
So we've been scoping out a playground at the Lisbon elementary school just down the road from us and Erin has even tried going there; somehow unsuccessfully, but that's a story for another day. It was relatively nice in CT today, so we decided to ease the spring fever a bit and hit up the playground. There were some big kids there running around but that didn't bother Logan one bit. He loved the big slide and swinging with Mommy : ) One day we'll be able to tell him to be careful as he runs and slides and swings on his own...

Foto Friday
Aunt Andrea says this picture cracks her up so this one is for her :) I took it with my phone earlier this week and sent it to her...Logan & I were practicing walking behind the ball only he didn't walk behind but instead kept rolling over the ball and then resting his head.

Status update
I'm sporting my 30 week baby belly these days. Paper work explaining what to expect at the hospital during labor & delivery has arrived, doctor bills are trickling in & Kevin and I have made a "Things to do before the baby arrives" list. Meanwhile Logan still has absolutely no idea what's to come. On several occasions I've shown him my belly and tried telling him that his little sister is in there and he is completely captivated.....by my belly ring. Eh, somethings are best left a surprise. Just hopin he still finds me just as comfy when my big belly disappears.

Birthday Boy!
Dylans 6th birthday was last Friday and while we thought of him and gave him a little extra love it made us sad when Sunday rolled around and we had yet to really celebrate his day. I know he's a dog & probably has no idea what is going on but there is a small chance that he does and so last night we celebrated with a dog treat & peanut butter cake, and a long & lanky ostrich type stuffed animal from Goodwill - Dylans dream come true. (And yes we lit the candle and sang to him)
Happy Birthday Mister!

Neurologist appointment
Logan had his appointment with the neurologist this morning. The first part was spent going through Logans history and our concerns, 2nd part was a physical examination by the Doc herself. What was determined was that Logan has the following:
1. Hypotonia
2. A mild lazy left eye
We are being recommended to both a birth to 3 specialist for physical therapy and an eye doctor. The doctor also recommended doing a full MRI (the 3 MRIs Logan has had so far have been just quick brain scans) a full MRI would show in much greater detail his entire brain. Logan would need to be sedated for it and the results wouldn't change any course of action for us or him so Kevin and I are leaning towards not getting it done - at least not anytime soon.
The doc. said his eye is a result of the low muscle tone and although she didn't say it outright I imagine the low muscle tone is the cause for his bowel problems too....there are a ton of muscles in your body folks not just those biceps!
Still don't know if Logans Ventriculomegaly is the root of all of this and maybe we'll never know. Best we can do is help where we can, which we do - lots. And give him love, kisses and support which he gets lots of :)
He is a loved and adorable happy little ham and to us that's whats most important.
BIG task
I have decided to label my posts. There are 402 :o
On another note it dawned on me the other day that the day I told Kevin we were pregnant with Logan way back in 2009 just so happens to be our current baby girl due date 2 years later. May 23. Crazy weird, huh?!

Baby Reagan Update
The silver lining to needing level 2 ultrasounds performed is that in return you get 3D ultrasounds for free & you get to see your baby swim around for 30+mins while they do all sorts of measurements :) So here she is. They aren't the best pictures cause she's a quick mover and was constantly putting her hands and arms in front of her face.
Other things we found about about our little lady are that
Other things we found about about our little lady are that
- She already has visible hair on her head :o
- She is weighing in at right around 3lbs. Sounds big to me but doc. said she's in the average range (whatever that may be)
- All her measurements are perfect and we are in the free and clear for everything :)
Home Sweet Home
10 days later we have returned to little ole' CT. I'm happy to report that we had yet another successful car ride. Definitely not much sleeping done by the baby but not much crying either. Works for me :)
Although Logan has to be missing his Grandma & Grandpa I think he is happy to be back in his bed - he slept over 12hrs last night and is just now waking up from a solid 2hr nap this afternoon.
Thanks Grandma & Grandpa for a fun & relaxing week for both me & the baby.

Bachelorette Bash
I think the group of us did a fantastic job helping Fatema bid adieu to the single lady world. Just about t-minus 2months till her big day :)

When the Mama is away....
....the baby will play :)
I am leaving Logan with Grandma & Grandpa tomorrow morning & I will not return till Sunday :o
HolyMOLY! I know, I know.
A weekend away.
I would take a weekend away even if all I had to say I was doing was driving around in my car with all the windows down and the music blasting while running a million errands (or anything that is impossible to do with a baby)
BUT alas people - I AM cooler than that and have a weekend of delightfully fun & exciting plans. Starting off with the beginning of my MommyMakeover courtesy of a good friend who happens to be good with hair, then meeting my bestest at her casa for our belated birthday dinner, slumber party & mini shopping spree and to top off my weekend away a Bachelorette party on Saturday night whoopwhoop!
I will most definitely miss this little peanut - but for some reason I think everyone will be just fine without me :)

Havin a good time
Daddy went on a business trip this week, so Mommy the baby and the Dylan embarked on the big 7hr journey in the Camry to Grandma & Grandpas house. The trip could be broken down into 30mins of baby sleeping, 2 pit stops, 0 traffic & 1hr of baby fussing which totals out to be a success! So we're here for a week and we're havin a good time
