4 going on Kindergarten
Holy Cow. Bittersweet to think that she will be leaving me for Kindergarten next fall. I think I might go through withdrawl. She is my sidekick through and through.
& she's gorgeous.

Nursery
We picked up the crib & dresser, hand-me-downs 8 years in the making...housing 4 different babies including Oliva & Mason :)
But there was no way that furniture was going to fit into a room that looked like this:
So we've started to work on the nursery. In our heads we had a vague idea of what we wanted. Then Kevin helped some friends re-do their fence and all the sudden the nursery idea changed and we just rolled with it.
Nesting.
I love nesting.

trucks & their hitches
His current obsession - the hitches on his toy trucks and cars and the trailers that get towed behind. The amount of concentration he puts into connecting them is mind blowing. He spends hours connecting them, pulling them, disconnecting, reconnecting, pulling over speed bumps....
hours.
hours.

New Year
This is what our New Years Eve looked like
quiet, calm & lazy. It was our first full day of no extra kiddos, no Grandma Jo - no nothing. That continued all day & into the night. Kevin & I didn't even kid ourselves about staying up till midnight. Think we made it to 10.
Started the New Year feeling rested and refreshed :)
No big resolutions or bucket lists for this year. Think normal life has a fair amount for us to accomplish without making a list. Figuring out a job/life situation better than the one we were thrown into last October & having a healthy 3rd baby are at the top of our to do's for 2016.
But to occupy my time while all of that is happening I'm going to try to take a picture a day to put into an album. The challenge will be that I would like at least half of the pictures in the album to be from my good camera - not just from my phone.
So far so good. One week in. 7 pictures, one from my good camera:

24 weeks!
Is this what the last baby is all about. This outfit (below) and nearly all the outfits on this website -One or two babies ago I wouldn't have even thought about splurging on such an outfit but this last baby gets the..... I'll never get the chance again, so I'm buying it.
And it just so happens that I have the little girl modeling the outfit to thank for helping us finally decide on a name. Look at her and then the first name that pops into your head is the name of our baby ;)
