These are my favorites from my list of favorites :) The week away was amazing. Little Milan, Ohio was a beauty & I miss it a little?!! We were outside 90% of the time because the weather was gorgeous & crisp the likes of a CT summer - my favorite. We stayed with my Dad & it was perfect - the kids loved his house and yard. There was lots of visiting with family some whom have never met Logan and Reagan and a few that have never met Kevin :o But most of our time there was spent celebrating my brother and his once fiance, now wife - Christine. There was a celebration every night (and day?!) we were there.
The ceremony was beautiful despite one cute flower girl meltdown (turned moma meltdown- I was an emotional wreck-!gasp!-did I just give away who that cute flower girl was? lol. lordy lordy that girl was a hot mess this trip...wonder where she gets it from ;) ) I loved that the entire church could hear every single vow and verse that was said and because I am family I was close enough to see both their hands shaking and I loved that.
The rehearsal had an open bar, a DJ and tear jerker speeches ...so in other words it was perfect. Reagan danced the night away with me. Kevin chased Logan the whole night (thank you) but the few dances he had with me we returned to find Logan in the Ladies room twice and once outside by the cornfields. geezelouise #weddingsaremorefunwithoutkids
Ahhhhh I said a lot of words but really I feel that I have no words to say how wonderful it was to visit with my Dad and sit around his fire pit and pass around moonshine & catch-up. To see 6 cousins all between the ages of four and six together. To see my brother and his new wife soooo happy.
We had a lot of late nights and a lot of early mornings but I wouldn't have changed a thing. Thank you Dad for hospitality. And CONGRATS Mr & Mrs.Moslener it was a wonderful celebration :)
