Foto Friday: Flashback

On this day in history for the past 2 years our kiddos have transitioned into big boy/big girl beds.

Logan moved into his May 9, 2012 (almost 2.5years old)

& Reagan into hers May 9, 2013 (almost 2 years old)

Wasn't planned that way, just happened like that.  So on May 9th this year I choose to remember the day(s) they were done with the crib.

That & I have no pictures from today :o

Big helper

All this girl wants to do is help me.
So I let her

Still here

Been some of the longest 2 weeks I can remember in a loooong time.  The kiddos sensed our saddnes and stress which made them cranky which added to our stress and around & around we went (go?). Slowly starting to get back in the groove.

Was excited for this week to start.  To start afresh and stop the comfort eating and drinking.  A week of workouts, healthy eating and nice weather does wonders.

But it is only Wednesday & I wish it were Friday.....

Couple randoms that my phone had from the last week to get your pic fix :)

1. She was sick with a sleepy fever for a couple days...nice to get some extra cuddles :)
2. Home Depot craft!  First Saturday of every month
3. In the zone doing arts & crafts
4. In the zone playing choo choos
5. Kevin built the kiddos a picnic table
6. What laundry looks like after a week
7. Went a little crazy planting things over the weekend.  This is only one of 3 trips ....

Dylan Randolph Hawk

March 11, 2005 - May 1, 2014

I like to think that in this picture Dylan is telling Kevin that he is ready to stop fighting.

Today was his last day.

Those that know us & knew Dylan know how much a part of our family he was and how great of a dog he was.  I thought he might live forever. He was so strong & tough at the end I think maybe he thought the same.

There will be a strange quietness around the house that I'm not sure we're ready for :/

Things the babies Say: Reagan

Reagan:  Mommy do you have any money?
Me: Yes, just a little
Reagan: I don't have any money.  Can I have all your money?

Hard to say no to a little beauty like this....and so it begins.
