2 fevers, 2 sickies

What happens when you have one sick kiddo?

Love how they both pulled their shirts up to let their bellies air out :)
Praying it's a 24 hour bug - cause we've got going away party plans on Saturday :o

VIsit to the school nurse

Got a call from the nurse at Logan's school that he had a fever & that I would need to come pick him up.

7mins later I arrived to Logan sleeping in his teachers arms, not looking good :(

Mrrrrrr....

By the time we left school his fever was 103
After 2hrs of medicine in his system to get his fever down his fever was at 103.9.
He's sleeping now but I made an appointment at 2:40 in case his fever is still high.

Poor guy :/

It was a good day ...

...up until 15mins before we were going to sign the papers we got word that the deal was no good.  

Boo.
Big time boo.

Perhaps it was too good to be true :/  Or perhaps it was way too ironic that on this exact day 3 years ago we bought our house.

1st time homeowners!

Whatever it was - we are anxiously awaiting the next big thing.

We got an offer on our house today.
We'll know tomorrow morning if it's a real deal get us out of CT offer.

Needless to say I had some nervous energy this evening - I burned it by making the kiddos laugh while I took pics of their beautiful faces.

 

 

Tomorrow could be a really good day :)

My little me & me

With Logan at school from 8:00-11:30 Monday- Friday the little miss and I have 3.5hrs of just us.  It's been almost 3months of that schedule and only now do I feel like we've figured out our new normal.

She likes to be left alone for almost an hour after Logan leaves.  And when I say left alone - I mean left alone.  Don't talk to her, don't go peek in at her playing, don't make eye contact when you pass each other in the hall.  She is in her world for that hour & Mommies are not allowed.  You can find her playing with Little Peoples or collecting things from around the house in her shopping cart and then "organizing" them somewhere else.  A couple times I've seen her in the bathroom pretending that the q-tips were make-up that she was putting on herself and her baby.  Normally we don't play with q-tips but ... pick your battles.  I spend my time now in my world cleaning up breakfast and getting dressed & enjoying the quiet morning hour that I haven't had in over 3 years.

We then either go run errands, go to the gym or now that the weather is getting nicer we've been going for walks.  And because arts & crafts is usually not one of Logan's favorite things to do I like squeeze in a little A&C time for Mommy Reagan ;)
 

She is a little me in the making & I love watching it happen :)
